Board President
As President of our business-centered sustainability organization, Eric is responsible for leading strategic initiatives and fostering the integration of sustainable practices into corporate strategies. Through cultivating partnerships, the role involves driving environmentally conscious decision-making, assessment and certification of local corporate responsibility programs, and ensuring alignment with both economic and ecological goals. As President, Eric's goal is to play a pivotal role in shaping the Sioux Falls member organization vision, promoting eco-friendly innovation, and advocating for sustainable business practices at the forefront of the industry.
Eric and his family moved to Sioux Falls in 2014 where they plan to stay for years to come. The legacy of how businesses adopt sustainable practices and the changes each member organization makes for the betterment of Sioux Falls and the quality of life for his wife and five children, guide Eric's vision for BSC and its continued success and impact.
Eric joined BSC as its first business member organization obtaining Silver Certification for Americold, where he worked for 7 years. After obtaining certification, Eric joined the board bringing a corporate business mindset to help shape the goals, communication, and certification process. Eric has recently moved to Diamond Mowers as the Director of Supply Chain.
